Over the years computer technology has evolved greatly and therefore it is difficult to stay in pace with all the newer jargons. DNS propagation or DNS is also called the ‘domain name system’. DNS is the link that connects the actual machine that stores the website’s files to the website you enter into your web browser. The DNS system associates human-readable text with the IP address of the remote computer. Name Servers function the same as the listings of a telephone book. DNS propagation is the time it takes for the remote IP addresses and the new records to update on all computers.
